Davido has unveiled the official music video for “10 Kilo,” a standout track from his acclaimed fifth studio album, 5IVE. Directed by the celebrated Director Pink, the vibrant visual is a bold celebration of body confidence, unapologetic femininity, and the beauty of women from all walks of life.

The video blends Davido’s signature charisma with striking imagery, pairing flirty choreography and playful movement against colorful backdrops. More than just a performance piece, it expands the song’s core message of body positivity into a visual anthem of empowerment, while also paying tribute to the enduring legacy of late Nigerian icon Sound Sultan.

“When I recorded ‘10 Kilo,’ I wanted it to be more than just a song you dance to,” Davido shared. “It’s about self-love about honoring Sound Sultan, who taught us to stand tall in our truth. He was a pioneer who used music to break barriers, and this is my way of keeping his spirit alive.”

Throughout the visual, subtle nods to Sound Sultan appear through archival imagery, symbolic references, and callbacks to his timeless hits, underscoring his impact on Nigerian music culture.

A fan favorite from 5IVE, “10 Kilo” has already inspired thousands of social media videos celebrating body positivity. The album debuted at No. 7 on the UK Albums Chart and continues to dominate global streaming platforms.

The release of the “10 Kilo” video follows a landmark year for Davido marked by his sold-out 5IVE ALIVE North American tour and chart-topping collaborations with Omah Lay (“With You”) and Victoria Monét (“Offa Me”). With this latest visual, Davido reaffirms his mission to push Afrobeats forward while championing messages of love, confidence, and cultural pride.
