Nike and the Virgil Abloh Archives are joining forces to present “Virgil Abloh: The Codes” — a landmark exhibition set to debut during Paris Fashion Week this fall.

Opening on September 30 — what would have been Abloh’s birthday — and running through October 10 at the Grand Palais, the showcase will celebrate nearly two decades of the late designer’s groundbreaking work. The expansive archive features over 20,000 pieces, spanning advertising, fashion, architecture, footwear, music, and more.

Billed as a follow-up to the “Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture” exhibit from 2022, this new chapter promises even deeper insights into Abloh’s creative universe, including never-before-seen Nike collaborations and unreleased Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 colorways.

“This exhibit marks the beginning of our effort to share Virgil’s legacy and vision with both the creative community and the world at large,” said Shannon Abloh, president and chair of the Virgil Abloh Archive. “By opening up his personal collection, unfinished projects, and masterworks, we’re honoring his commitment to making creativity accessible and collaborative.”

Beyond the exhibition itself, “The Codes” will include a series of talks, workshops, performances, and screenings — with full programming details to be announced closer to the opening.
